Creative change
Wayne McGregor talks about mixing things up with Royal Ballet dancers: "We went to the Francis Bacon exhibition, to see Theatre de Complicite, to Antony Gormley's studio, to Merce Cunningham. Just to take them out to other cultural events, I think might provoke them to think differently about how they make new choreography. I wanted to engage them with artists who work in different ways."
