Capture 3
Capture is a unique collection of single screen works, video installations and new media works with content that emanates out of dance practice, produced through an annual commissioning scheme funded by Arts Council England (ACE). ACE has made commissions for three years and 23 works in total have been produced through the scheme, 7 of which are installations or interactive works and 16 are single screen works.
The latest works produced are being premiered at the ICA this week. (23 Feb)
Capture was developed and produced by the Dance Department at Arts Council England's national office. Jen McLachlan, Dance Officer, Broadcast and New Media at ACE said "The Capture initiative has really demonstrated the diversity and breadth of the work being produced by dance artists with new media and Arts Council England is delighted to be profiling the work at such a prestigious venue" .Capture has been programmed by Vivienne Gaskin at the ICA and is produced for ACE by Portland Green.
